Private Finance Receipt Sync is a personal-use application operated by its owner. It helps the owner organize purchase receipts and compare receipt information with personal financial transactions.

Information accessed

With the owner's permission, the application uses read-only Gmail access to retrieve messages carrying specifically configured receipt labels. It may process message metadata and receipt details such as the merchant, purchase date, order number, currency, and total amount.

How information is used

Information is used only to extract receipt details, match receipts to the owner's financial transactions, and propose transaction-category corrections for the owner's review. The application does not send email, modify email, or automatically approve category changes.

Storage and sharing

Application records are stored on the owner's private server. Limited receipt text may be sent to an artificial-intelligence service solely for structured receipt extraction. Health-label message bodies are not submitted for AI processing by default. Information is not sold or used for advertising.

Data retention and deletion

Extracted receipt records are retained while needed for the owner's financial records. The owner may delete stored receipt records and may revoke Gmail access at any time through Google Account security settings.

Security

Access credentials are stored outside the public website and source repository. Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to limit access to the application and its data.
